Dear Roger:

I have heard the report of the Southeast Camp and Conference Center Committee and would like to give my hearty support to the purchase of a new center.

I have been in the Southeast for six years, participated in the Summer Institute for five years, have been President of the Southeast Florida Cluster, and attended many of the campouts sponsored by our Cluster. Through this experience I have come to believe the most successful activity of Unitarian Universalists in the rapidly growing Southeast is an out-of-doors conference or campout. This type of activity provides the link for an otherwise scattered, struggling movement.

I sincerely hope that you are able to receive the necessary monies to make this purchase. I am convinced that you will receive the support of the Unitarian Universalists from the Southeast.

Sincerely,

Morris W. Hudgins
