The Digital Archives contain documents and photographs related to the activities of Unitarian and Universalist in the Atlanta area.
The material in the archives includes newsletters, meeting minutes, annual reports, financial records, orders of service, newspaper articles and other related documents.
Started in 2014 the effort is expected to last until 2019.
The initial phase of this endeavor is focused on digitizing of original source documents dating from the late 1880’s housed at the Pitts Theology Library at Emory University, Atlanta GA.
These documents included board of trustees meeting minutes for Unitarian and Universalist churches as well as their auxiliary organization of these churches such as the Woman’s Union and Young People’s Christian Union.
