First Universalist Church – Meeting Minutes, Sep 10, 1902 (Music Concerns)

Atlanta, Ga. Sep 10, 1902

The regular monthly business meeting of the Board of Directors was held on the above date at the Pastor’s study in the church.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

The treasurer reported a balance on hand of $38.59

On motion the following orders were drawn on the treasurer:

Dr. McGlauflin for the following items:

Miss Smith $1.50
Miss Cawthon $2.00
Miss Cramer $1.00
Fred Echols $4.00
Hock’s Coal Co. full of coal bin $33.06

Dr. McGlauflin stated that he had paid Miss Cramer $1.00 in full of her service and had engaged Mrs. Allen to play the organ at some price.

The board concurred in the arrangement and on motion the whole matter was referred to Mrs. Allen in view of the fact that Miss Cawthon had moved away from the city.

On motion, Mr. Graham West was elected as usher.
