CUUPS Hawk’s Hoop

Rejoice, the time of extended darkness will be ending as the sun returns from its winter sojourn in the Southern Hemisphere, as the Hawk’s Hoop chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) celebrates “Yule” at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 22nd in the sanctuary of the Northwest Unitarian Universalist Congregation.

During this candle-lit ritual, we will review the year behind us and commit to changes in the year ahead to strengthen our spirituality, our relationship with the world around us, and with our fellow travelers on Mother Earth, as our conduit through the Universe. A communal breaking of bread and a merry gathering will follow in the lobby.

Please join Hawk’s Hoop CUUPS Sunday, October 27 at 11:15am as we celebrate Samhain. This is the time of  year where we join in remembrance and celebration of our loved ones who have passed.

We ask that you bring a picture of your loved one for the altar and meet us on the back porch to tell stories of their lives in a sharing circle.This will be followed by a Samhain ritual in Stan’s memorial circle. 

The Hawk’s Hoop chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans at Northwest will hold the Mabon Ritual on Sunday, September 22nd. All are invited to join us at Stan’s Circle in the woods behind the church at 11:30 am as we celebrate the autumnal equinox.

The Hawk’s Hoop chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans at Northwest will hold the Lughnasadh Ritual on Sunday July 28th. All are invited to join us at Stan’s Circle in the woods behind the church at 11:30 am as we celebrate the beginning of the harvest season.

The Hawk’s Hoop chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans at Northwest will hold the Litha Ritual on Sunday 6/23 to recognize the Summer Solstice. All are invited to join us at Stan’s Circle in the woods behind the church at 11:30 am as we revel in the glory of the earth passing through the high sun period in the Northern Hemisphere.
