On January 19, members of Northwest participated with other UUs from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta (UUCA) in an event to honor the memory of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Northwest minister Rev. Terry Davis and Northwest members Maria Drinkard, Laura Hall, Helene Johnson, Pam Zenner, Marcia Kreycik and Keith Kreycik joined with approximately 50 UUCA members to fill bags with food items donated by members of the two congregations.
The bags were delivered to the Toco Hills Community Food Bank where our volunteers assisted with other tasks in preparation for distributing food to those in need.
