Seven members from Northwest volunteered for a weekend work project at The Mountain Retreat and Learning Center near Highlands, North Carolina.

The Mountain, founded in 1979, is a Unitarian Universalist inspired retreat center providing a wide range of summer camp options for children of all religious backgrounds as well as a venue for church and family events.

The Mountain director, Ted Wisniewski, thanked the team for their hard work and made sure warm and cozy facilities were available for the team’s overnight stay.

Northwest members participating included: John Hagler, Dave Zenner, Keith and Marcia Kreycik, Jay Kiskel, Larry Wallis and Glenn Koller.
