Adult Choir
Do you love to sing? Join the choir! Teenagers and older are welcome. If you are inexperienced at choir singing, this welcoming group is the perfect place to learn. If you are an experienced choral singer, we welcome your leadership. The adult choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm and sings two services per month.
Contemporary Band
This smaller ensemble focuses on contemporary styles that include folk, rock and jazz. The band currently comprises two guitars, piano, bass, percussion, flute and singers. Because of the styles of music this group performs, the band is kept to a limited number of musicians. However, if you have experience playing these styles and are interested in the group, please contact Tom Godfrey. The contemporary band rehearses two Sundays each month at 1:00 pm and plays one service per month.
Children’s Music Program
In our second year of children’s music, we are making changes to accommodate busy family schedules. Rather than holding formal rehearsals, Tom Godfrey and Chrissy Hadded will take turns singing songs with the children during Second Hour as part of the chil-dren’s activity time. Additionally, we are planning to hold a monthly mini-service for the children in the Chapel, which will include singing. Occasional-ly, the children will sing one or two of their favorite songs for a Sunday service. For these important performances, we will schedule a special rehearsal.
