Endowment Fund Committee

< All Ministries & Committees

The Endowment Fund Committee consists of 5 congregation members elected by the congregation to serve 3-year terms and is charged with furthering Northwest’s principles, programs and mission.

Each year, The Endowment Fund Committee can distribute a portion of the income from the fund in the form of grants. Projects awarded funds shall reflect the NWUUC mission and values expressed in the UUA Principles. Congregational committees or members of NWUUC may submit proposals.

Opportunities

Inherent in all of us is the desire to leave something behind. Planned giving is an excellent way to meet your families financial planning goals while supporting Northwest’s mission.

  • Donate to the Endowment Fund
You can make a lasting contribution to the congregation through donations to the Endowment Fund. This can be by check, stock transfer, or by donating other assets to the church. These contributions can honor an individual or a life event. Become a member of the Legacy Society by donating a minimum of $1,000. If you choose, you will be recognized as a Society member on the NWUUC Memorial Plaque in the lobby.
  • Purchase a Commemorative Brick
A memorial brick can be ordered to honor a special person or event. The bricks are installed along the sidewalk edge leading into Northwest’s main building.
  • Through Your Will
One of the most popular and easiest ways to support our community is to remember our congregation in your will. A common practice is to leave a percentage, rather than a fixed amount, to NWUUC.
  • 401K Plans, Real Estate, Life Insurance
Make NWUUC one of the beneficiaries of some part of any of these plans.
