Community Ministry

Our Community Ministry binds us together in fellowship and welcomes new members.  We gather together to worship, serve our wider community and expand personal relationships with one another.  Behind the scenes there are a number of teams that are focused on making our time together a pleasant experience. For newcomers, our fellowship teams create ways to engage with Northwest and find your niche within the congregation.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • The kitchen crew prepares refreshments each Sunday for the social hour following the service; they also do set up and clean up.
  • Set up, serve and clean up for potlucks – such as Ingathering, Outgathering, Easter, Christmas
  • Sunday morning Greeters/New member welcoming
  • NW 101 twice a year, an introduction to NW and Unitarian Universalism
