First Universalist Church – Meeting Minutes, Nov 5, 1901 (Financial, Thanksgiving)

Atlanta, Ga. Nov. 5, 1901

The regular monthly business meeting of the church Board was held tonight at the home of the President Mr. Crone.

The Secretary and book being absent the minutes of the last regular meeting were not read.

The treasurer reported a balance on hand of $15.11.

On motion Mr. Bond was authorized to pay $25.00 on the Neal Loan & Bldg Co note and renew the balance of $175 for 90 days.

On motion, the treasurer was instructed to write to Calcord Lumber Co referring them to a recent letter written (to) them by Dr. McGlauflin relative to the bill owning said company.

On motion, a committee of two was appointed to confer with Miss Cramer as to full  used by her at church during the meeting of her music class. Dr. McGlauflin and Mrs. Hubner appointed.

Mr. Hubner moved that a regular Thanksgiving Service be held in our church on Thanksgiving Day Nov 28th.

Upon motion, the warrants were ordered drawn on Treas.
$25.00 in favor of Neal Loan & Bldg Co.
$5.00 in favor of Wells Sign Co.
$5.00 for church Secretary
