First Universalist Church – Meeting Minutes, Aug 9, 1901 (Financial Discussions)

Atlanta, Ga. Aug. 9, 1901

The regular monthly Board meeting of the First Universalist Church was held on the evening of Aug 9th at the Church, the following members being present Crone, Marsh, Gill, Bond and McGlauflin.

The minutes of the last regular Board meeting were read and approved as read.

Treasurer reported a Balance in the treasury of $10.04 with all outstanding warrants paid.

A motion to renew the note due Neal Loan & Banking Co. for 90 days was made and same was carried.

A warrant in favor of R.M. Crone for 60 cents for water bill for last month was ordered drawn.

A warrant was ordered drawn for $4.00 for interest on the $200.00 note due Neal Loan & Bldg Co. for 90 days.

The matter of paying members of the choir next came up and after a good deal of discussion the whole matter was left to the consideration of the Board at its next regular meeting.
