Church of Our Father – Meeting Minutes of Sep 23, 1901 (Raise More Funds)

The Board of Trustees met in the church rooms at 8:15 pm.

Present: Messrs. Crafts, Moore, Harding, St. Amand, Langston and Lederle.

The Treasurer read his statement showing the amount received and disbursed since the last meeting of the Board.

Balance on hand Jun 18th: $16.25
Receipts to date: $221.86
Total: $238.11
Disbursements 6/18 to date: $223.75
Balance: $14.36
Hospital Fund: $14.50
Deficit: .14

The Treasurer also read a statement showing amount due Mr. Langston on account salary, total being $440.00 to Oct 1st.  Report accepted.

Mr. Langston reported that he would some issue a call for a fortnightly meeting of the church.

Mr. Harding reported as follows regarding attendance at church:

Jul 21 – 30
Jul 28 – 25
Sep 1 – 34
Sep 8 – 36
Sep 15 – 47
Sep 22 – 44

There was then a general discussion on the methods to be adopted to raise additional funds for the church. It was suggested that each member consider himself a committee of one to solicit futures subscriptions.  Mr. Langston stated that the first Sunday in October had been designated as Rally Sunday and requested that all members make a special effort to attend service on that day.
