Northwest’s Anti-Racism Anti-Oppression Multicultural (ARAOMC) Committee represents a dedication to examining and unraveling institutionalized racism and white supremacy culture. From the global to the local, we aim to transform our lives and create a Beloved Community. 

In May 2019, the congregation approved an ARAOMC resolution sponsored by the NWUUC Youth Group to publicly declare our commitment with a prominent banner and to partner with POC-led organizations to dismantle racism.
