Hungry Ear is proud to present the January 6th 2018 performers –
Highbeams and Jake Decker!
Highbeams is a trio of brothers that play emotive, high energy Folk Rock. Since their first show on New Years Eve 2012, the band has captured audiences all over the Southeast with their warm, personable stage presence and rich three-part harmonies. Highbeams has released two full length albums and has played alongside national acts such as Vertical Horizon, Chase Bryant, Col Bruce Hampton, and the Grammy nominated duo, Brothers Osborne. Today the band continues touring behind their latest release, Do Good\\Be Well, and making the most of every opportunity to share their dream with the world.
Highbeams – Adam Pendlington, Ian Pendlington, and Stephen Quinn.
Noted as a talented songwriter, Jake Decker’s lyrics have been acclaimed as inventive and inspiring; his songs are original, and thought provoking. Jake released his first album, entitled Fossils, in September, 2014, which explores the notion of revisiting the past in order to understand the present. He is currently on tour in the U.S. and working on his newest project.
Jake’s music is rich with hints of ‘Mumford and Sons’ and the ‘Avett Brothers’. His voice is like an arrow through the heart and straight to the heavens.
