Family Interfaith Passover Seder, April 23

Have you ever attended a traditional Passover Seder service? Well, this one won’t be like that!

Long-time Northwest friend Dave Savage and Northwest member Traci Montgomery are hosting the event at Northwest on Saturday, April 23 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm (set-up starts at 5:30 pm). Dave has led interfaith Seders for many years, including several at Northwest. Come with your family to learn, have fun, and experience some nostalgic Seder foods, complete with Traci’s delicious Matzo Ball soup!

Seders are learning, sharing, participatory and fun programs, with a great meal in the middle. We are using Dave’s ever-evolving edition of the Haggadah Seder program.

Suggested donation is $15.00 per per-son to help cover costs of traditional dishes, ceremony supplies, paper goods, beverages and custodial help (children 5 years and under are free). No one will be turned away, however, for lack of funds.

Childcare for children 5 years of age and under will be provided in our Nursery with two weeks’ notice. Please note that the service and dinner could last a few hours.

We ask those attending to bring a dish to feed about 8 – 10 people. This could include: chicken, Passover wine, matzahs, gefilte fish, a side dish of vegetables or dessert. The guest list is limited to 50 people, so sign up early at seder@nwuuc.org.

When you sign-up, please let us know the names of those in your family who are attending

  • what you will be bringing
  • a contact phone number and email address
  • whether you need childcare and the ages of your children

This is an extended family, home-style event, where part of the fun and socializing involves coming early to help set up and “chipping in” at the end to help make Northwest ready for Sunday services.

Questions? Contact Traci Montgomery (between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm) or let us know of your interest at seder@nwuuc.org. Be on the lookout – We will use your email to send you an EVITE.
