No, we don’t have hungry feral cats, but we do have fabulous treats every Sunday during coffee hour. We have a dedicated kitchen crew each week that works hard to make the social hour a nutritious time for food and fellowship. Their offerings often include fresh veggies, fruit, cheeses, crackers, gluten-free products and many other delectable items!
What you probably don’t know is that these dedicated volunteers provide the foods with their own money, and unless the rest of us “feed” money to the baskets on Sundays, they don’t get reimbursed. So let’s remember to show our gratitude by tossing in a few dollars each Sunday to keep those great snacks coming! And be sure to thank them for their much appreciated work.
