The Art of Community
Join us Oct. 25-27 at our beautiful retreat and learning center, The Mountain, outside Highlands, NC. Get to know our new minister Rev. Misha Sanders and your fellow congregants at Saturday morning’s workshop, The Art of Community. After lunch, hike/ nap/read/take a workshop or just relax in the fresh mountain air and the beauty of autumn in the national forest all around you and the million dollar view from Meditation Rock. Saturday night will feature our traditional talent show ( so bring your talent) and s’mores campfire. Register online or call (828)526-5838. If you have food allergies or special needs you can mention them at registration and you will be accommodated.

Friday, Oct. 18th, is the last day to register for our retreat! You will be receiving a list of what is recommended to pack for the weekend and if you do not get this email, it means you are somehow not on the registration list so let Penny Raney know about that right away. Directions for getting to The Mountain will be on the community table this Sunday and they are also available on The Mountain website on our NWUUC registration page. Don’t depend on GPS because it can take you the long way. It’s going to be a super good weekend and the leaves are ready for us!

- Registration open to NWUUC (Northwest) members, friends, and invited guests. Youth and Children must be accompanied by and lodged with a registered parent/guardian.

- Adult: $190 per person, double occupancy
- Adult: $70 per person, single occupancy (additional premium)
- Youth (8-17): $70 per person
