Church Administrator - Jennifer Torrence
Jennifer Torrence is a central cohesive source of support and stability for Northwest UU. Keeper of the keys (literally), payer of bills, publisher of Northwest communications, and comforter and guide for those who don’t know who to ask for what. She maintains core hours of 9 to 3, but if you leave her a message, she will respond in a timely manner.
Jennifer began her work at Northwest in September 2005. She was familiar with Unitarian Universalism through her mother, Carole Anderson, who is a lay minister emeritus at UUCA. She has extensive administrative experience and has worked a few other surprising occupations she might be willing to tell you about (she even has a clown closet). Jennifer returned from Florida in 2005, where she was the manager of an exclusive bed and breakfast on the beach (why would she leave there?), but has lived in and around Atlanta for over 25 years. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a major in French. Jennifer is the adoptive mother of Chloë, a 7-year-old Florida pound puppy, and just purchased her first home.
