I am Karen Edmonds and I am going to coordinate what our children will be learning and doing this summer in religious education.  This is a new job for me and I am looking forward to seeing where it takes me, the children, and Northwest.

My roots are deep in the soil of New England and the Unitarian Universalist faith tradition.  since 1987 I have called Northwest my community.  UU's inthe South need to be together in community.  Northwst is my extended family.  Though the years I have had the pleasure of seeing many children grow up in this church including my own.  I believe involvement in reliious education strengthens all of our bonds to one antoher.  The children are our future and they look to all of us for love and guidance.  We, every one of us, serve as a role model to the Northwest children.

This summer there will be one group of all ages each Sunday.

There will be three intergenerational services - June 8, July 20, August 17.

Together, we can all make a difference.  I am counting on you, as are our children.
