Accessibility

Northwest is a community that welcomes diversity of age, sexual orientation, race, gender identity, abilities and theology. We work to make our "home in the woods" comfortable for everyone.

Wheelchair access

One of the parking space and the ramp onto the sidewalkThere are three parking spaces reserved for people with disability access parking permits. From the parking lot, there is a ramp up onto the entry sidewalk to the main building. The main building has an accessibility path that connects the entry sidewalk to the left side of the front porch. The restrooms in the main building are marginally accessible.

The Chalice House has level entrances on both floors. The most accessible entrance to the upper level of the Chalice House is a right side door leading into the Chapel. The downstairs entrance is accessed from the sidewalk leading from the parking lot to the left side of the building. There is an accessible unisex restroom on the upper level.

Assistive Listening

The sanctuary is equipped with a wireless headphone system that amplifies the speakers' microphones. Several of the headsets are available for your use.

Large print hymnals

We have several large print hymnals available. Please ask the ushers for a copy when entering. If you need other materials in large print or other format, please let us know.

Additional accomodations

Please let us know what other accomodations are needed. We are willing to work with people on issues of allergies, cognitive and physical disabilities, or other considerations. We want you to feel comfortable and to be included!
