The Northwest Earth Ministry Team will present an intergenerational service honoring our individual and collective action to live our seventh principle, which reminds us of the interdependent web of all existence. Through music, theater and art we will together reflect on Rev. Jim Macomber’s words, “What I do affects you; what you do affects me. And what we do collectively—or allow to be done—affects the world we live in. We are called to do everything we can to preserve our world for future generations.” Following the service we will throw open our doors for an Earth Day Fair and Open House to include food, entertainment, activities, speakers, resource materials and tours of our recently solar module array. We refer to Northwest Unitarian as “Our Home in the Woods” because we love our wooded acreage/retreat and just completed phase one – 20 solar modules – of our anticipated 108 module PV array – with plans to become 100% energy neutral.
