First Universalist Church – Meeting Minutes, Aug 20, 1902 (Funds for Organ)

Atlanta, Ga. Aug 20, 1902

The regular monthly business meeting of the Board for August was held on above date at the church with President Hubner in the chair.

The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

Dr. McGlauflin reported that while he was away on his vacation he had received on the organ fund from the National Y.P.C.U. through the sales of the Junior Star Story Book published by Mrs. Mary Grace Canfield the sum of $72.30. Also he had received the sum of $6.00 from a church in Maine.

Upon motion the following orders were drawn on the Treasurer:

Balance on coal bill $5.00
Muller & Co. (Pulpit) $25.00
Dr. McGlauflin (for May and July $25.00
$15.00

Dr. McGlauflin was asked to see Mrs. Allen with reference to securing her services as organist.
