Church of Our Father – Meeting Minutes of Jan 3, 1890 (Annual Meeting)
Atlanta, Ga. Jan 3, 1890
Special meeting of the Board of Trustees in the Church this date.
Meeting called to order by Mr. Chaney who appointed Mr. Harding Chairman for the evening.
There present, Mr. Crafts, Mr. Harding, Mr. Dickson, Mr. Chaney, Mr. Winslow and E.P. Burns. (See Archivist Note)
The following committees were appointed for the year.
- Ways and Means – J.Y. Dixon, Mr. Kennedy, J.A. Burns, Geo. H. Crafts and T.D. Winslow, appointed upon motion Mr. Dickson last two were added
- Care of Church Property (motion Crafts second Winslow) – Dixon, Norrman, Lederle
- Music Committee (motion Dixon, second Winslow) – Geo. H. Crafts, W.E. Fisher and Mr. Harding assisted by Mrs. Chaney and Mrs. Lowe.
- Operation of Church (motion Crafts, second Winslow) – Winslow, E.P. Burns, Harding.
A report of Committee of Operation was made and well receive. It was relative to rent on church property and repairs to said property as offset claims.
Matters of general interest discussed and meeting finally adjourned until Friday evening Jan 10th.
