First Universalist Church – Meeting Minutes, Jul 7, 1901 (Finance, Music, Pulpit Supply)

Atlanta, Ga. July 7, 1901

The regular monthly business meeting of the Board was held on the above date at the church, following members being present: President R.M. Crone, Treasurer F.M. Marsh, Secy J.C. Bond, James Harvey, Chas. W. Hubner, W.H. McGlauflin.

The minutes of the last two meeting were read an approved as read.

Treasurer reported a balance on hand of this meeting of $28.45.  Received at this meeting $65.00 made up as follows:

From Sunday School on pledge $10.00
From YPCU on pledge $30.00
From Mission Circle $25.00

Upon motion, the following warrants were ordered drawn:

Shing Hdw Co. in full of acct $6.43
Colcord Lumber Co on acct $8.00
W.H. McGlauflin Salary & April 15 $75.00
McGlauflin (Miss Cawthon $10, Janitor $2.00) $12.00

It was voted to pay Miss Smith and Miss Crone $5.00 each during July for furnishing the music. Miss Cawthon having gone to Trinity Church to sing.

During the vacation of Dr. McGlauflin, the supply for the pulpit was determined upon as Follow:

July 14 – Maj. Hubner
July 21 – Prof. Zettler
July 28 – J.C. Bond
Aug 4 – Mr. A.E. Holdt
