1917.09.01Sep 1, 1917 MoM - Young People's Christian Union. Box supper held October 5, 1917 raised $16.45. Money used to "settle some debts." It was also decided to adopt the ten-cents-a-month method for dues.Posted2677

1918.02.15Feb 15, 1917 MoM - Young People's Christian Union. It was decided to hold meeting the following Sunday at the Unitarian Church and see if the Union would like to hold its meetings there until services were once more a the Universalist Church. Archivist Note: The Atlanta Unitarians and Universalists posted an announcement in the Feb 23, 1918 papers that they would worship together at the Unitarian church on West Peachtree Street. The merger is planned to last the duration of the war (World War I). The merger continued until the early 1950Õs when the joint Unitarian and Universalist congregation failed, vacated the 301 West Peachtree church building and disbanded.Posted2678 - 9

1919.05.24May 24, 1919 MoM - Young People's Christian Union. The minutes note that this a meeting of the "The Y.P.C.U. of the Liberal Christian Church." Payment of dues to State Union, Dr. Keirn (minister) stated he could not attend State Convention and asked that it be reported that "our Union as a small but enthusiastic and helpful Union."
