Y.P.C.U. Meeting Minutes, Jan 20, 1921 (Busy Agenda)

January 28th, 1921. 7:30 P. M.

There were seven present.

A devotional meeting was held, first, Miss Durdin, Leader, Topic, What I have done for the Y.P.C.U. and what the Y.P.C.U. has done for me.

The business meeting was opened by the President, Lucy Rhyne.

Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.

After some discussion it was decided that we hold a Devotional, business and social meeting on the second Friday of each month, everyone present pledging themselves to be present at every meeting.

The seven members were Dr. and Mrs. Keirn, Mr. Henry, Frances Henry, Lucy Rhyne, Earnestine Peel and Saphronia Durdin.

It was decided to request all members of the Union to be present each Sunday at School wherever possible, so that Dr. Keirn’s Bible Class would take the place of a regular weekly Devotional meeting, as much as possible.

Miss Rhyne agreed to lead the next meeting on the second Friday in March. Topic selected, “Meeting Temptations.”

Miss Frances Henry agreed to lead the April meeting. Topic, “Christian Life Work.”

In the absence of the treasurer the secretary reported that we had $3.30 in the treasury, and that we were due Dr. Keirn $2.25 for multigraphing some postal cards, which had been sent out announcing the Jan. 28 meeting.

The secretary was requested to pay this amount to Dr. Keirn, this amount having been sent by the Treasurer.

There being no further business the meeting then adjourned.

Respectfully submitted,

<signed>
Saphronia Durdin

Secretary.
