Church of Our Father – Meeting Minutes of Oct 21, 1901 (Attendance/Resolutions )

A meeting of the Board of Trustees was held in the Church Parlors on Thursday evening Oct. 21st. at 8 pm.

Present: Mr. Moore, Mr. Har­ding, Mr. St. Amand, Mr. Crafts and Mrs. Daniels of the Board and the Pastor, Mr. Langston.

Mr. Crafts was elected Clerk, pro tem.

The Treasurer, Mr. St. Amand, reported that he had paid Mr. Langston about $160.00 of the indebtedness due him and hoped to settle balance in 60 days.

Mr. Harding reported the following attendance at Church Services.

Sep 29 – Morning 30
Oct   6 – Morning 65, Night 26
Oct 13 – Morning 42, Night 16
Oct 20 – Morning 40, Night 12
Oct 27 – Morning 42, Night 40

On motion, the Chair appointed Rev. Mr. Langston, Mr. Crafts and Mrs. Daniel a committee to draw up resolutions on the death of Mrs. Howe and Miss Joye and present them after Sunday Services.

On motion, the book committee was authorized to erect bookcase in the Sunday school room the expense of same not to exceed $5.00.

Mr. Langston reported that a sign had been erected at the corner of Peachtree and Cain Streets at an expense of $7.60 and the Trustees gave him a vote of thanks for attending to same.

At 9.15 meeting adjourned.
