Church of Our Father – Meeting Minutes of Mar 19, 1901 (Detailed Sunday Attendance Record)

The Board of Trusted met in the Church Parlor at 8 p.m.

Present: Messrs. Moore, St. Amand, Crafts, Mrs. Owen and Daniels.

Mr. Crafts appointed Clerk, pro tem.

The Treasurer read his report for January 1st to date showing:

Cash on hand January 1st, 1901: $79.97
Receipts since then: $218.34
Total: $298.31
Expenditures since January 1st: $285.93
Cash on had, March 19th: $12.38

Mr. St. Amand as chairman Finance Committee reported subscriptions to date of $839.20, exclusive of the contribution of A.U.A. of $450.00. On motion April 14th was appointed as the Sunday for the annual contribution to the A.U.A. and the Treasurer was authorized to send $15.00 to the association as the contribution from this church.

Mr. Harding reported the following attendance at the Sunday services.  (Archivist Note: Attendance provided for morning / evening services)

On motion it was voted to complete the tinting of basement under the original contract.

On motion it was voted that 500 monthly programs of services be gotten out and that Otto Abel, Paul Dixon and Lloyd Daniels be appointed a committee to distribute them among the guests at the hotels.

On motion it was voted that the Pastor be authorized to have 500 of such cards printed each month.

On motion the Property Committee was requested to take out the hydrant in the yard and dispose of same.

On motion Mr. Langston was appointed chairman of a committee with authority to appoint two others to act with him to overlook the books in the library and report to the next quarterly meeting as to the best disposition of the same.

On motion the property committee was requested to get the proper authority and to put up a sign (similar to the Congregational Society’s) on Cain street at Peachtree.

On motion it was voted the the chairman be authorized to invite the Pastor to attend any meeting of the Board that he may see fit.

At 9:50 pm the Board adjourned.
