8/4 – Summer of LOVE

We are excited to bring you our annual Summer of Love concert on Saturday, August 4th! Join us in celebration of the music from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s with various artists sharing their interpretation of the songs that influenced and inspired three generations of singer-songwriters and musicians.

You’ll hear songs by: James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young,
Simon & Garfunkel, Johnny Cash & June Carter, Everly Brothers
Patsy Cline, The Beatles, The Mamas and The Papas, The Turtles, The Doors, Marvin Gay, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt….and more!

This year, we are thrilled to have the following lineup:

If you’re feeling the LOVE – wear your bell bottoms, peace signs, tie dye, flowers in your hair or anything that makes you think Peace, Love, and Music. Always a big hit, this will be a show to remember! Bring a friend or two, or three or a group. We have tables. Bring your partner for a date night. Or just bring yourself and meet some really cool new people who love music.

Doors open at 7:30. Music starts at 8:00. $5.00 suggested donation at the door and canned goods for the Community Assistance Center (OurCAC.org) in Sandy Springs are always appreciated. Please bring cash for donations to the bands and to purchase merchandise and refreshments served at break. BYOB (beer, wine and spirits welcome), bring a friend, tell a friend, and be ready for a night to remember at the Hungry Ear Coffeehouse!
