April 1, 10 am: Easter and Flower Communion Service
Join us for a multi-generational Easter and Flower Communion celebration. Originally created in 1923 by Unitarian minister Norbert Capek of Prague, Czechoslovakia, the Flower Ceremony was introduced to the United States by Rev. Maya Capek, Norbert’s widow. Please bring one or more flowers with you to worship and add them to the large vase at the front of the sanctuary before the service begins. During a special ceremony, you will be invited forward to take a different flower home with you.
The Easter egg hunt and potluck will follow the service.
