November 5, 10 am: Grace and the Art of Giving and Receiving

In the Judeo-Christian tradition, the word “grace” is defined as an unmerited gift from God. In other words, good friends or a loving family are blessings bestowed upon us by the Creator even though we did nothing to earn them. As Unitarian Universalists, how might we understand the word “grace?” How might this understanding influence the way we give and receive?
