Join us for Atlanta PRIDE!
UUs from North Georgia will march together in the 47th Annual Atlanta PRIDE Festival. Assembly begins at 9:30 am on the streets near the Civic Center MARTA Station. The parade begins at noon.
We also have a booth (Yellow 24) at the festival to represent North Georgia UU Congregations. We will tell folks at the festival about our faith and pass out pamphlets, silicone bracelets in rainbow colors imprinted with “You are Welcome Here WWW.UUA.org” and show our support of the LGBTQ Community. We need volunteers to work at the booth and spread our message on Saturday and Sunday. You can sign up for the booth here and for the parade here.
Route: The Parade steps off from the Civic Center MARTA Station, merges off Ralph McGill onto Peachtree Street and travels north. It then turns east onto 10th Street and follows 10th Street to the Charles Allen Gate entrance of Piedmont Park, where the Parade officially ends.
