Meet Northwest’s very own Godfrey and Guy, where Lori Guy is a member and Tom Godfrey serves as Director of Music.
With vocal selections ranging from Sinatra to Sting, Godfrey and Guy perform a refreshing blend of jazz classics and folk rock. Lori Guy’s wide ranging vocal talent finds a home in a variety of styles, but her voice truly shines when she sings the classic songs from the age of swing. Featuring easy swing and Latin grooves, Tom Godfrey provides elegant, in the pocket guitar accompaniments and playful solos to complement Lori’s sultry vocals.
Joining Godfrey and Guy are special guests Reed Lukat (tenor sax) and Hadrian Mendoza (trumpet), who are both featured on Godfrey and Guy’s new album, “You and the Night,” available at www.godfreyandguy.com.
