On June 14, 2015 the Northwest UUC Legacy Society celebrated meeting its 2015 goal by unveiling its new membership plaque. The goal was to reach $100,000 in the Northwest Endowment Fund.
“Now that we have reached $100 thousand (actually $102 thousand as of today) we can begin spending the funds to further the mission of Northwest,” said Mani Subramanian, co-chair of the Endowment Committee. “We expect to fund educational opportunities and capital projects, “ he said.
The Legacy Society is comprised of members who have named Northwest in their will or who have made a contribution of at least $1,000 to the Endowment Fund. There are currently 48 members of the Legacy Society. Their generosity will live through future generations.
