Annual Meeting on News of Financial Progress

The great news at this year’s Annual Meeting was that The Mountain had turned the page on a difficult financial situation that started in 2010.

It was reported that The Mountain has been operating in the black for the last two years and that its debt obligation is essentially zero!

The Mountain is a Unitarian Universalist retreat and learning center established in 1978.   Perched on a 4,200-foot granite cliff on the Eastern Continental Divide in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, it is a year-round retreat and learning center serving businesses, non-profits, schools, churches and other groups. Located near Highlands, NC, The Mountain is a two-hour drive from Atlanta, GA., Greenville, SC and Asheville, SC.

The Mountain also has an active MountainCamp program serving campers from ages 6 to high school age.
