Hoppy April! At Northwest, the month kicks off with great music on Saturday, April 4, at the Hungry Ear Coffee House (TM) in our Sanctuary and two opportunities to celebrate Passover with others in the community. Then, on Sunday morning, April 5, we have the beautiful Easter and Flower Communion Service, followed by the annual Easter Egg Hunt for our children in elementary school or younger, and the Easter Potluck Brunch! How’s that for a start to the month?!
On April 19, we have two great opportunities for members and families to celebrate Earth Day and on April 26, we host Rev. Debra Haffner, president of the Religious Institute, a UU minister and a national expert on creating sexually healthy congregations, who will speak to us on creating a healthy, welcoming and safe congregation. A workshop follows the service. We will also Donate The Plate on April 26 to Prevent Child Abuse Georgia in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
