Northwest has a long history of appreciating poetry. In this session, participants will read and discuss poems by Rumi, and modern poets such as Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer, David Ray, Frank Bidart, and others. The discussion will focus on how poems resonate with us in our daily lives, and when applicable, how they might help us think about our spiritual beliefs. All are welcome, no prior experience with poetry is necessary.
