Dawn of Realm

Northwest is going upscale in data management! After a year of work, our Technology Team selected Realm as a modern, cloud-based administrative solution for our congregation.

Realm will help us manage important information about members and serve as a great tool for members, group leaders and staff to communicate more effectively with each other and keep up with small group activities and events. The best part is that members can access up-to-date information using a computer, tablet or mobile phone.

Realm will integrate with our website,  NWUUC.org, and will enable online giving. It allows members to maintain their own profiles. It also allows members to see each other’s profile information, but only the information that member has agreed to share. Realm has strong security and the ability to customize privacy settings. All giving information will remain strictly private.

Realm is feature-rich for online access, for group activities, and for integration with social media. Leaders of a Minis-try Team or other small group will find it an excellent tool for maintaining communication and sharing resources with others. It will serve as the Northwest Directory, with the most current information about each member.

Now it is time for you to get involved. In August, you will receive an email asking you to claim your Realm profile. Just as you would with any online account, click on the link and follow the prompts. As a security feature, you will get a second email asking you to verify your  login. Click on the link in the second email to complete the registration process.

Technology Team members are David Morgen, Keith Kreycik, Mark Perloe and Shirley Banks. Others whose work was essential include Allen Rider, Cathryn DuBow, Lil Woolf, Marcia Kreycik, Nancy Warnick, the Board of Trustees, the Ministry Team Leaders, and Rev. Terry Davis.

If you have questions about Realm, please contact Shirley Banks or Keith Kreycik.
